Balinee Milk Producer Company Limited incorporated in 2019 under Company Act 2013, with its headquarter at Jhansi Uttar Pradesh. The company has the objective of safeguarding the interest of member producers(exclusively women) by providing round the year access to organize market in fair and transparent manner, timely payment, capacity building and providing livestock support services to increase milk productivity aiming social and economic empowerment of women dairy farmers of Bundelkhand.
Balinee was set up under the project titled “Dairy Value Chain Development in Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh” financially supported by National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) & Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UP-SRLM) and with technical guidance of NDDB Dairy Services.
Balinee was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath Ji in December 2019. Currently Balinee has mobilized around 80000 women milk producers spread across 1250 villages in all 7 district of Bundelkhand ie Jhansi, Hamirpur, Banda, Jalaun, Chitrakoot, Lalitpur and Mahoba. Members together supply around 3.25 lakh litre of milk per day.
Balinee has put in place an automated and efficient system of milk procurement at every procurement village. The milk is weighted and tested in presence of producers and milk payment is directly transferred to the individual member’s bank account once in ten days.
Further, to improve the productivity of milch animals and to assessed its members Balinee provide necessary facilities like green fodder roots & seeds, balanced cattle feed, area specific mineral mixture, artificial insemination etc. on affordable prices at members’ door step with an objective to reduce the cost of milk production and increase income of producer members.
